The term Visual Tools refers to the Macromedia products HomeSite, ColdFusion Studio, and JRun Studio.

Using the Visual Tools Object Model, developers can extend their work in two broad categories:

• Power users can script recurring tasks.
• Application developers can call Visual Tools functionality for use in their applications.
