What's new in this guide

The developer guide section has a new step-by-step format that describes the call sequences for performing certain tasks using the XML API. You can code these steps in your application.

The API reference has a new format that documents request URLs and parameters, as well as response elements and attributes, with request and response samples.

A sample application has been added for this release. The sample is a Java and JSP application that runs on any J2EE-compliant web or application server and demonstrates how to create, display, and update Adobe Acrobat® Connect Professional meetings. Called firstapp, the sample is available in the firstapp.zip file in the documentation/samples folder on the product CD. You will find instructions for installing and running the sample application in its ReadMe file.
